Health & Safety Advisor – Part-Time (Life Science Project, London)

Rate: £300 per day

We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a Life Science construction project in London on a part-time basis (2 days per week).

This is a great opportunity for a skilled H&S professional looking to remain active in the life science and construction sector while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring site safety compliance, promoting best practices, and supporting the delivery of a safe and efficient project.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
• Review and support risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture on site

Key Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, pharmaceutical, or life science environments
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulations and CDM 2015
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently in a part-time, site-based role
